Extreme late landing clearance Lisbon RWY 03.

Post by Mighty »

Nice approach and landing towards Lisbon.
We are planned for landing on RWY 03.
On final we see an aircraft lining up. We expected a late landing clearance.

Hope you like the movie.

Yeah, that's a new definition of a "late landing clearance"

Nice video, thanks!

Thanks Mighty for your videos. Keep them coming !

Passing 500 and then Clear to land, that's late clearance for sure.
But it looks like others did "better" than you. See Google Earth :

:D

Actually I checked on GE for the RWY Distance Markers that I could not see on your vid. Seems they took these out. I always considered the RDM to be a valuable info and rather inexpensive to install.
OK, with a TORA in excess of 3700 meters you don't get nervous about distance remaining.

Again thanks for these nice videos.
