Fly-In for experimental planes in Belgium: EBLE, July 2015

Post by jan_olieslagers »

Experimental planes are either home-built or restoration projects - in either case, such projects tend to take several years. I am quite curious to see them in the first weekend of July 2015:

Though perhaps not everybody will be happy with their statement
There was not yet a fly-in for experimentals in Belgium
- I do seem to remember visiting such an event at EBML Maillen ...

Great to see that our national aircraft manufacturer Lambert will also be present, probably with the new aircraft Mission M108

"our"? "national"? Mind your words, dear Regi, there may be more of them than you think. Or is your "national" limited to the "West Vloanders"?

Still I quite agree: it will be a nice event to visit, and I will certainly go along at Lambert's!

...and by the way, what is new about the M108? There has been one at my homefield EBZH for a good while now. A new model/version, perhaps?

I used especially "our" and "new M108" to provoke some reaction. Sadly enough, there is just 1 reaction on it.

Come on dear members, some support for our national aeronautic pioneers is very welcome.

It seems that > 100 years ago, there was more interest, see the story of Daniël Kinet.
