Furthermore, none of the Belgian operators is capable of competing with the airlines of Turkey (even Jetair and Thomas Cook are subcontracting their flights to Turkey to Turkish charter airlines). Hence I think that this agreement is entirely in favour of Turkey: I fail to see which benefit Belgium will get from such an agreement.

Thomas Cook Airlines will perform a daily flight to AYT this summer iso giving them to Tailwind or Onur Air.
Maybe a change in tactics? Are those Turkish carriers still as competitive?
