Hi,

We hereby detail our current plans for 2015. The schedule is rather extensive already, but still we do not want to call it final. We will always keep an eye open for extra opportunities.

February/March - Australia

We kick-off the season with a tour to Australia. Here we will visit the Avalon Air Show and combine this with other bases in Southern Australia. The tour will bear much resemblance to the Australia tour of 2013.

February/March - USA

In February we will start our first US tour of 2015. During this tour we will visit the air show at MCAS Yuma, spend a couple of days in Tucson (for A-10s, Iraqi F-16s, AMARG, etc.) and will then continue towards Las Vegas for a Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB (with the last Aggressor F-15s).

March - Malaysia

In March we will head for Malaysia for the third time. The LIMA 2015 is the reason to go to this Asian country. We hope to encounter a large number of air force, army and navy aircraft.

April - Japan

This has by now become our traditional Japan-tour. In two weeks in Japan we will capture a large number of aircraft of the several types of the air force, army and navy of this spotter’s paradise.

May - Russia

Each year, on 9 May, Victory Day (День Победы) is celebrated in Russia. In 2015 is has been 70 years that Nazi Germany surrendered. This day is celebrated in Russia (Moscow) with a substantial military parade. We want to witness this from the centre of Moscow and witness the preparations for that in the Moscow area.

May - Turkey

The 2015 NATO Tiger Meet will be held at Konya in Turkey. Normally an option for spotters/photographers will be given to visit the exercise. It this is the case again we will be present with a group.

June - Turkey

We hope that the Turkish Air Force will allow us to return to the Anatolian Eagle exercise with a group in 2015. In 2013 and 2014 we visited the exercise as well and were surprised by the hospitality and the awesome photo opportunities.

July - Sweden

In July we want to go to the air show at Såtenäs in Sweden. We will combine the tour with visits to the museums in Linköping and Gothenburg.

July - Colombia

The next edition of F-Air in Colombia is scheduled for July. Like in 2013, we want to visit this event. During our stay we will then also spend some time at and near other bases in Colombia. Follow our website.

July - United Kingdom

Next year July we hope to take a bus to the United Kingdom for a week of aviation fun. It will be a combination of RIAT at Fairford, Flying Legends at Duxford and visits to the fences of a number of interesting bases and locations.

August - Russia

In August we will travel to the MAKS-show at Zhukovsky in Russia (for the third time in the meantime). Apart from the many interesting types at the show, we offer the option to visit interesting museums in and around Moscow.

September - Mexico

The parade that is organised in Mexico to honour the Independence Day can be called large. Dozens of aircraft also take part and in 2015 we want to capture these aircraft during take-off and landing at Santa Lucia.

September - North Korea

In September we will travel to North Korea for the third time. This is the odd one out in the 4Aviation tour schedule, but a very interesting one. Enjoy the opportunity to fly in a number of unique aircraft types while being in a country that not many people will visit.

September - Malta

We visited Malta in 2014 for the first time but because of the fantastic photo opportunities we gladly run this again in 2015; The Malta International Air Show. A short tour with very nice results.

October - Switzerland

In October we will go to Switzerland again. In 2015 the live firing exercises at Axalp-Ebenflug will be held again. We therefore want to travel to Switzerland by bus to witness this spectacular event.

October - Japan/South Korea

For October we have scheduled a combination tour again. We want to combine a ‘short’ tour to Japan (focussing on the bases in the wider Tokyo area) with the Seoul Air Show in South Korea.

November - Greece

In November we want to travel to Greece for the eighth time. This tour, visiting the annual open days of the Hellenic Air Force, cannot be absent from our schedule anymore.

Still to add...

Apart from the tours listed above we are still working on several other possible tours. We want to organise more US tours. If there is a CRUZEX exercise in 2015 we want to go to Brazil again etc. As soon as any of this materialises we will get back this in future newsletters.
