Stavanger, new Air France destination in Norway

Post by sn26567 »

Air France is today launching a new service to Stavanger, second destination in Norway after Oslo and centre of the Norwegian petroleum industry.

Air France now operates two daily frequencies to Stavanger from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The flights are operated by Embraer 170 with 76 seats. The flight schedules allow easy connections to Air France’s long and medium-haul network at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. This new route will complement KLM’s flight schedule, which operates 5 daily flights to Stavanger from Amsterdam-Schiphol.

AIR FRANCE AND KLM’S PROGRAMME FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES

Beyond its tourist attraction, Northern Europe is home to many small and medium-sized businesses, especially in the field of high technology, as well as oil and gas installations. The adaptation of flight frequencies, a combined fare offer, as well as standardized products and services are Air France and KLM’s key assets in Scandinavia.

For all customers as well as for professionals working in these fields, Air France and KLM have developed a service on board their Business cabins offering more space, peace and comfort during the trip. The loyalty programs on offer adapt perfectly to customers’ professional activity: Flying Blue Petroleum brings together professionals from the oil and gas industries and is rapidly expanding in Norway. In addition, the BlueBiz programme offers specific benefits to SMEs, especially in Denmark. This programme optimizes travel budgets with the accumulation of Blue Credits, convertible into award tickets. For every flight, the company combines Blue Credits and the employee earns Miles on his or her personal Flying Blue account.
