Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
C'mon guys. A = B. What is it?
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Going back a bit through the posts made in this forum, I guess it's a special livery then.OO-ITR wrote:Let's say it will be something where spotters will be looking forward to it...Inquirer wrote:Any particular reason why?OO-ITR wrote:16th of March will be a day to check the news and probably also this website

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Since retro is in these days, a retro Sabena livery would be nice to see...
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Yes for sure but which one...the last one ( year 2000 ) or one of the years 60 with the so beautiful "S"...?Bralo20 wrote:Since retro is in these days, a retro Sabena livery would be nice to see...
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Year 2000 isn't exactly called retro, the end of the 50's livery (aka 60's) seems to be nice indeed
But not sure if that will be the case... Maybe it's something different, don't know.
But it would be nice if someone would say B after saying A

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Maybe not retro livery but a new one for the entire fleet ? Oups...don't think so !
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Maybe a dual SN/LH or SN/HQ livery (like AB/EY made with D-ABDU)
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Is a retro sabena livery even allowed legally?
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
The colours on the outside dont really matter as long as the paperwork in the flightdeck is finekoja78 wrote:Is a retro sabena livery even allowed legally?
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Unfortunately it won't be a retro livery, I got this info but not yet a design:
"to highlight once more we are the ambassador of 'the best of Belgium' to our costumers and ambassadors."
"... to convey our Belgian identity globally."

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Yes, it's legal since they own the Sabena brand. And like said above, it doesn't matter as long as the paperwork is OK and it's mentioned on the fuselage "operated by..." like you've seen on the wetlease Q400's...koja78 wrote:Is a retro sabena livery even allowed legally?
Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
They had the Sabena 'S' on the tail for many years, so indeed, I don't see why it would not be legal to do a Sabena livery.
But it won't be that then?
Hum... somebody mentioned 'manneke pis'? Surely not that, please????
