The ANR-LCY flights do get full. Both the ones I went on were 100% capacity.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

great news, it surely show the potential a route out of Antwerp can have, hopefully it will inspire the airlines to start more flights out of Antwerp.

Today, 6 VLM-flights had to be cancelled because LCY-runway was locked.

Sems a CityJet had a tire blow up at the end of the runway.

I hope it stays like that , although it must been said , sometimes they REALLY have some serious empty planes , even so low number of pax they just cancel a flight and put them on the next flight :D but luckily that's only few times :D

I hope so too that some new airlines will come and visit EBAW. But I'm afraid that the biggest damper op that will be the Flemish government like we know it  and even more the Antwerp city authorities etc...

Although some new traffic really SHOULD come within several years. The ability to use B737's or/and Bae 146/Avro RJ either some other small jet airliner planes would be possible if the runway would be restrenghtened again because now it would collapse if there would be dayly traffic of BAE 146 (full) :D B737's wouldn't be able to take of half capacity etc...

Hope they will fix those both things soon and EBAW waits a nice future.

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Which ofcourse opens the debate as to when Wevelgem/Kortrijk will change it's name to Brussels East / Paris West / London really really South
