On the subject of Russian military aircraft, my favourite is the Flanker, I have a superb book all about this aircraft, and it is full of brilliant photos.
My favourite military types, however, are vintage ones. I love fifties fighters and my absolute favourite military type operated in Britain is the Nimrod.

Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.
