As a philatelist, I can answer YES. It is the stamp commemorating the 75th (and almost last) anniversary of Sabena.
Remember that Avro with a special colour scheme?

I never saw OO-DWD in real with the special paint scheme, but it certainly was very nice
Anyway, do you think it's still possible to buy this stamp
And if yes I hope it'll be cheap
Ciao

I got one from a friend a few weeks ago who had found this one by mistake in his appartment
When he saw there was an aircraft on it, he immediately gave it to me
Never saw DWD Chris? Didn't you go to the DAT open door a few years ago? It was there inside the hangar, I even touched it
Regards
Frederic

I didn't knew that there was an opendoor that day
I saw it on TV after
BTW at that time I liked planes but not more than that. I really regret it now

I found this stamp in my uncle's agenda.
He worked for Sabena and now for SNBA as steward

They also made commemorative coins for that 75th birthday.
With Nelis on the face side (the "founder" of SABENA) and 75 on the other (what's it called again) side.
I'm a lucky guy 'cause I do have it! (but I think I would have preferred the Concorde model ( see the SABENA-concorde topic)

Hey guys,
I'll have to check my stamp albums again, but I think I have a few of them. I'll let you know, eventually for some interested... But, I don't promise you anything, just said I'll look around...

As a philatelist, I have, of course, this stamp in my album. But no additional copies for sale

you should take care, on the picture the experimental (British) reg. is used, not the Belgian one!

I should be be ashamed. A few years ago, I almost threw that stamp away. Although I know nothing of stamps, I'm very happy to have one in my possession. It was stamped the 27-04-98 in the days that a lettre only needed one day to reach the destionation and that the Sabena was still flying.

How do you like this? (not really a Sabena stamp, but...)
... and this poster for Sabena 75th anniversary?

I've got a stamp with a photo of a Sabena aircraft on, but it's not Belgian it's African.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.
