KLM AMS-WAW ticket taxes?

Hello,

I just noticed the tax for a KLM return flight from AMS to WAW went up 40 euros, what's going on?? (Not all ticket sites reflect this change yet though)

Do you mean they are 40€ more than previously or in total 40€ ?
I would think that 40€ more seems like a lot

Yes, 40 euro more, the tax previously was 73 euro or so, now it is 113... which makes a 220 euro ticket cost 260, almost a 20% price hike??

Seems like a little screw-up on the part of KLM, the tax is now back to 81,42 euro (it was 77,87 before), so probably someone typed 35 euro into the system instead of 3.5 euro
