@ Andries, I just did a quick count and I ended up with (just) 22 models...but that number is encouting!

@ EBBRspotter, I buy my models at different places. Usually when I visit Schiphol I buy them at Schiphol Plaza (World of Wings), but I do have the feeling that this shop is more expensive then other "regular" shops.
Other shops I visit are "Wentink" in the nearby city of Deventer, or "Schluter" in my birthplace Oldenburg (Germany).
Also thank you for sharing the pictures, your collection is also very nice.

Are you both collecting also in the 1:500 scale?

Here is a list of my collection, all in the 1:500 scale:
 B744 South African Airways
 B733 Dba "Schrifttanz"
 B733 Dba "Bavaria"
 B733 Condor
 B732 Royal Airlines
 B738 American Airlines
 B73G Boeing Company
 B744 Lufthansa
 A343 Olympic (just love that classic c/s)
 B747SP Pan Am
 B763 LTU
 B763 Lufthansa "Star Alliance"
 B744M KLM
 B744 Lufthansa "Star Alliance"
 MD-11 Lufthansa Cargo
 B744 United Airlines

Yes, I only collect 1/500 scale.

I'm planning to create my own airport (better than the one I have now) if i have more space.

Didn't see that you lived in The Netherlands. Thought you also lived in Belgium. I buy my planes in Brussels or Aalst (and when I'm in the neighborhood, Antwerpen)

small mistake, an AN-124 is not loaded from the side, but from the front (nose open) or from the rear ...

Hello

Terrible thing happened this weekend....:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

My mother bounced here head by accident against my plane-rack wich hung on the wall until today......:(

3 planes got damaged;

NorthWest airlines---B747-451---'the world plane' Herpa wings scale 1:200th
Finnair----------------MD-11-------'Santa Claus' Herpa wings scale 1:500
Luftwaffe------------A310-300MR 'Otto Lilienthal' (grey)Herpa wings 1:500

The Norhtwest airlines lost 2 engines wich were easily to repair , they just got out of there 'gondles' (how do you say???).
One of the middle-gear wheels got of (not broken, just a little loose) so that easily to repair too...but the tail broke of whole down under...but I'm lucky I have a lot of experience with glueing airplanes....so that will work out to.

The Finnair's front gear broke down...but I was able to successfully repair without seeing it now....:D

But the Luftwaffe's Gear was fully demolished...every wheel was a wrack...totally demolished...so he has no gear now....he also lost an engine but he was easy tho fix , just out of the gondle again....

Hope you guys never have those things too much....Mothers he.....

Best regards: Yannick ;)

Mothers, I know it.

I'm always extremely frightened when she comes into my room, and comes to close to my model-planes.
But thank god she never "crashed" one of my aircraft.....

Good luck with repairing, and finding a solution for the damaged aircraft!

Yes, but with different registrations ! The closest one is 82043 and the one behind it is 82074.
Bruspotter wrote: My mother bounced here head by accident against my plane-rack wich hung on the wall until today......:(

That is why my mother can only enter to room to pick up my dirty clothes !

No cleaning-up, no cleaning, no re-arranging, not even looking ! The basket with dirty clothes is at the door. She can take those and get out again ! Very simple !

Ever since she demolished some of my selfmade 'Revell' planes, she has suffered from the rules above ... 3 Airplanes demolished, can you believe it ??? Mothers ...

Hello

b744skipper:
Mothers, I know it.

I'm always extremely frightened when she comes into my room, and comes to close to my model-planes.

Indeed...too bad isn't it???

That was why I never installed a rack before...but now I have done...too bad...you know...she came into the room to clean (knowing my parents divorced and I live with my dad)the room. But she had just needed to ask to clean my room.....I do that already by myself for yeaaaars.....so bad....it just didn't need to happen.... :(

Anyway , I feel with those who have the same problem , but demolishing a more than 30Euro's Finnair and NWA 744 1:200 from 47Euro's , you know it just happens with the most expensive and special planes....do am happy I moved away my Airforce One and two of that rack and that my JAL Japan airlines 744 (new colors) was on the other rack. :P

Anyway , the NWA and Finnair will be totally successfully repaired tomorrow but the Luftwaffe is now a plane without gear....

Best regards: Yannick ;)
