Hi,

No this is temporary. They are using also pax planes as they don't have cargo planes.
They do this now bcs the demand is very high and the prices they are paid for is also very high.

As from the moment that everything will be normal again and the prices will be lower, we will see them all gone again and only leaving the full cargo planes and carriers who were flying before Covid-19

The number of cargo flights, via pax planes, slowly start to decrease already this month. Also the number of full freighters.

With soon the opening of the European borders and next month the external borders, it is not interesting anymore to fly those extra flights. In a couple of days it can be again as belly freight

Furthermore, everyone has now dozens of facemasks at home. No need to import many more.

DHL needs a lot of capacity now, or in the last few months. Emirates was also flying a lot for them.
So, those are third party airlines flying for them. They also fly very often to AMS now.

There might be some changes at BRUcargo, with the VS service changed into LHR-BRU-LHR.

Worldwide Flight Services’ (WFS) investment in state-of-the-art facilities as part of its long-term commitment to Brussels Airport has earned the world’s largest cargo handling company a new five-year contract with Air France KLM Martinair Cargo.

It seems that Hongyuan Group, that was proudly presented last week in OST will finally end up in BRU
My messages reflect my personal opinion which may be different than yours. I beleive a forum is made to create a debate so I encourage people to express themselves, the way they want, with the ideas they want. I expect the same understanding in return.

Not a good start for them at BRU, first flight went AOG due to birdstrike.

As from tomorrow, ANA is resuming their daily flights to BRU. They will increase from the current 3 weekly to daily flights. Note: only cargo.
Cargo demand is really high between Japan and Belgium with a very strong request of the Belgian industry
