That quite a nice collection vc-10, do you have any pictures of it?
The 1:144 models are big, I have a KLM B747 flying in my room.
There is a new addition to my collection, to celebrate passing my exams I decided to buy a new model.
I chose a model of an Air China Boeing 747-400 (1:500), because I like the aircraft and the classic color scheme. Also this aircraft has more details then the "standard" new generation Herpa Wings Boeing 747's.
Here are some pictures, note the registration and "Air China" on the wings, very nicely done.

Last week, I have added some new aircraft to my collection. This time they are both from Asia, the first Asian aircraft in my collection. and again they are both Boeing-aircraft. They are 1 Boeing 747-200, and a Boeing 777-300. Both versions are also a new (first) addition.
Here are the pictures (and a little review):
General Information:
Articlecode: 512503
Scale: 1:500
Description: JALways Boeing 747-200 "Reso'cha"
Price in EUR: 23,50 EUR
Personal opinion: Aaahh, my first Boeing 747-200 in the collection, I was looking forward to one aircraft with the short upper deck. Always when I'm in the shop and make a decision, I have a need in me that at least one of the aircraft should be a Boeing 747.....
In general this model looks very good, and I'm not the person to start over little details that are not correct. But the only thing that bothers me is that 2 of the engines seem to be pointing downwards. One other point (that does not bother me, but is noticed) is that the wings seem to be a tad "fatter" then the ones on my other Boeing 747's. Could be optical illusion do to the lack of winglets....
But the livery, which is not plain white, makes this aircraft a winner for me. The flowers and birds all over make it really interesting to look at, and will give every airport some colors for sure. If you like the livery/aircraft, then one should overlook the little mistakes on the model (but they are not optically bothering me) and get it.
General Information:
Articlecode: 506601
Scale: 1:500
Description: Korean Air Boeing 777-300
Price in EUR: 18,95 EUR
Personal opinion: The livery of this aircraft is at least not plain white, but isn't also very interesting or special to look at. It has to be said that it is descent, and very well replicated on the model. But when you hold the model in reality, one thing will be noticed. That aircraft is one hell of a long aircraft!!! 8O
And because it looks distinctively long (really much longer as the B747 and B777 at my airport), this aircraft will attract many views for sure. Just by it sheer length, it will stand out of the "crowd". Only one thing has to be noted, and that is that the nose looks awkward and stubborn from some positions (on the photos). But in reality it does not bother me that much, the length of the aircraft compensates for that.
It is not the livery or details that make this model standing out, I repeat that it is just that sheer length make this aircraft that makes it worth a look (and maybe a buy). Great aircraft in the end though!

I agree, very nice collections.
But I do have a question for ATC, why do you have such large numbers of the same models?
Have you been creating your own airfleets?
I have some new additions to my fleet, all 1:500 scale Herpa Wings models (I bought them at the over-expensive "World of Wings" store at Schiphol Plaza):
- Boeing 747-122 United Airlines, in the old blue and red color scheme:
- Boeing 747-406M KLM, in the old color scheme and with the "The world is just a click away" titles:
- Boeing 747-406ERF KLM Cargo, in the new color scheme and belonging to KLM Cargo:
- Boeing 747-451 Northwest Airlines, in the absolutely gorgous new color scheme that NWA has:

not only that...
but I've created complete scale airports.
(about 4x3m).
I'm now working on BRU.
It's a complete model of BRU in a fantasy 2006 airport.
my BRU fantasy airport...
- Sabena is still alive and is an important ONEworld member
Last year (2005) they made a 209 mill. profit. (2005 = high oil prices !)
- BA has bought a 20% share in Sabena.
- Sabena is the main ONEworld Africa partner
- All Oneworld members (BA,IB,AA, CX,...) connecting in BRU for their famous African Network.
- Virgin Express in gone and EasyJet arrived in 2001.
(EasyJet has based 15 airplanes in BRU -> important EasyJet hub)
- BRU airport has doubled the A terminal (x2), the A terminal is exclusive ONEworld. Also the C terminal is demolished and rebuild (10 gates).
C-terminal is the EasyJet terminal. The TGV-station is a big feeder for BRU now. BRU traffic number have rosen to 38 million. An important second ONEworld airport in Europe beside LHR.
- Sobelair is the big Sabena charter-arm. (no long haul traffic)
- Thomas Cook is gone and TUI is charter player two.
- CityBird is still alive and concentrate one long-haul leisure traffic. (Mexico, Cuba, Miami, South-East Asia,...).
- ....
When finished I will post some pictures. 8O
(end 2005).
I will probably start a EWR project in the near future with the big CO player.
Because I don't have much free time these projects take my more than one year to develop.

Mark kindly send me an-mail to notify me. And finally very keen prices! In one word perfect service I highly recommend you his store should U want to buy some models...
Btw Yahoo for the first time I actually managed to post a pic on this forum! Shame about the quality of the pic..
