I bought mine on eBay (exept SNBA & Ryanair)...
Never had any problems with it, except once a bad shipping (box was damaged, plane not).
I don't know about online stores...

I just had a very good first-experience with the Luchtvaart Hobby Shop (http://www.lhshop.nl).
They really have an amazingly huge collection of models there, in all kinds of sizes, models, liveries and prices. Superb. Super fast shipping: 2 workdays after my order it was at my home (from the netherlands to belgium!). for only 10€ shippingcost, thats superfast. There are companies who charge u 10€ for shipping within belgium, non-prior!! So 10€ international prior, is super!!!

Last year Herpa came up with some new models like Tu-154, Tu-204, Il-76 and An-124. This year won't be different. They plan to realese 3 new models in the 1/500 range and 1 in the 1/400 range

The new 1/500 models will be ...

The Boeing 737 Stratocruiser, with the first model being a PanAm aircraft.

The Havilland Comet 4
<img src="http://www.herpa.de/pics/p2004_16.jpg">

And the Ilyushin Il-62
<img src="http://www.herpa.de/pics/p2004_18.jpg">

The first Il-62 to come out will most likely be a Uzbekistan Airways.

The new 1/400 model is the Boeing B757-200

I'm looking forward to the release of the Ilyushin 62 ... :lol:

You're right there Andre :lol: It's nice to see a model of a Comet. I don't have enough room to have loads of models, even though I like them. One day I might get over the embarrassment of my collection and post a photo of it for you all to see.

Is the Comet going to have a livery? If so, which one? I would love to see it when it is completed.

Interesting...
Can you all place all those models on display?
I would hate to be the maid or the wife who dusts them!!! LOL ;-)
Btw, has there ever been a model of those beautiful VG 330's??
Probably not enough time to produce any...
Pity, really!

NEVER EVER let anyone else clean your models!!! Thats the number one rule of collecting models! Always do it urself, or accidents may and will happen. Especially when u make the models urself it is a real pitty.

I always buy them at a shop in the center of Antwerp. I don't buy over the internet because I don't have a creditcard!
