SN Brussels Airlines future fleet plans?

Post by Dorfmeister »

Bonjour/Goeiedag/Good Morning,

Two or three weeks ago, Flight International was speaking about the SNBA future fleet plans. To sum up, they said that the RJ85-100 and Bae 146 will need to be replaced and that the first withdrawal will began in 2005.

So, as SNBA already have 3 A319, Birdy is using 3 A333, what will SNBA do? Taking some A318? Some B736 or B717? Or some smaller Regional Jets?

I know that no choice have already been made, but what's your opinion?

Regards,

Benjamin

Dorfmeister,

I allready heard stories about taking the A318, the Canadair CRJ700 and the Embraer 170.

I'm voting for the Embraer 170!

Maybe you can enter a poll in your topic? This would make it nice!

greetings,

OK to retire the BAe 146, but the Avro RJ fleet is still rather young. Why retire it already?

My vote goes to the Embraer 170 and... certainly not the A318
