An A330 is much better in performance than an A340! And it has only 2 engines, so cheaper than 4 !

Indeed Bart, less fuel, less costs. But why SNBA is buying no A330-200s they can fly further then the A330-300!

I do not want to disappoint you but, for operating more and new aircrafts you need two thing money and passengers and that is a general problem in aviation industry at this moment.

According to JP 2003/2004 they should receive an JY-xxx registration, however no timing available.

Sonny, I don't want to go off topic, but can you please make the difference between the terrorists who use God to justifie their actions, just as cowboy Bush uses God to 'bless America'?

The Islam is a VERY tolerable religion, in certain aspects even more tolerable than the Christs.

So don't make the mistake that a lot of people make (generalize the fundamentalistic terrorists to the whole Islam).

About the topic, the same question over here: why keep several aircrafts their French registration?

Not only the A342, but also several A310's of RJ have a French registration. The same for Volare, Khaliffa, ...

Frederic

Did OO-SCX not get a French registration when it was transfered to France for temporary storage? And then it kept its registration for a while because some countries take a LOT of time to register them in their books.

Inderdeed André, just before it wore an "F-WQRG" regi, but those F-WQxx regis r only used for ferry flights and/or storage i think.
