What is wrong with Biman? The flight from New York is canceled and there is a big delay with the flight from Dhaka +/- 15 hours.

I suppose that's what you get when you fly those 20+ year old big birds. Even if you take good care of them they get older. So such trouble gets more frequent
Nice plane anyway.
Apparently they had not a "spare" plane around to avoid such delay! But then what company does? After all its about profits!!

Does anyone know if they plan to keep those DC10's or if they want to replace them?

There WERE rumours that BG would start replacing the DC10 with B777's starting in January 2003.

Nothing happens, I guess they will keep them... Until they find a nice replacement.

To be honnest, I hope they keep them, nothing beats a good old DC10 while spotting in BRU ;)

The plane finally took off to JFK this morning at 7.11, some 20 hours late. Fly Biman :)

Of course, the return flight to Dhaka, due to leave from BRU at 13.45 this afternoon, has been canceled.
