+65% vs W23 (several frequency increases), only 2 fewer weekly flights vs S24.
Curious what they will add for next S25 season and if a fourth plane will be based at BRU.

Regarding Corendon is more silent

They probably will base a 4th plane, there's no reason otherwise. Looks like we're going at a +1 annually.

Btw, at the moment for Transavia :
AMS : 62 destinationsㅤㅤㅤRTM : 33ㅤㅤㅤEIN : 26ㅤㅤㅤBRU : 15

9 new destinations in 2 years, never ever reduced, almost double of what was planned in 2019. Things are going (quite) fast, and surely.

This is a reduction of the direct NBO flight S24 versus W24/25, this was planned since the beginning, nothing has changed.

On top of the 2 weekly BRU-NBO-BRU there is as well 2 weekly BRU-KGL-NBO-BRU rotation making that NBO is served 4 time per week.

This was indeed planned since the beginning.
And the 10th aircraft will be used in the winter for extra frequencies to BJL / DSS /FNA & ROB.

Not good at all. BRU is the only one who is suspended.
They feel now stronger the second daily flight of UA?

Double-daily currently only runs in the summer, but maybe this decision will change UA's mind...

In general is not good. We came from 5 different American carriers, before M&A, to only 2 American carriers and now only 1 during certain part of Winter. It's good to have a Sky Team carrier on board for long haul.

Prices will otherwise going up while NY is a very popular destination.

Atlanta will also not come back soon, even if it will come back.

Demand, demand and demand. I don't understand why people blames always airlines.

They have all Data that we don't have (yield, load factor,...). They are not philanthropic companies.

At Cdg, it's the same thing, there is a huge reductions of flights to United States, during the winter

Boston is only served 3-4 times a week by AF in the heart winter, vs 2 flights a day in the summer. I don't include JetBlue and Delta.

Some people will tell me, yed but at least there are flights. Yes indeed but believe the demand is not huge at all.

In Winter Americans go mainly to Caraïbes, Central America or stay at home: New York, Las Vegas, Hawaï or Florida. About Europe it's mainly UK, France and Italy.

Delta had a few setbacks in corporate sales with a direct impact on BRU.

The second daily should not be a threat. The 757 is only intended to make up for United not having a spare 777 to replace the 787 over the summer as they have previously done. It is also not intended to be year-round, as the 777 was not either.

I have to correct myself, there are a few European destinations that will be suspended around the same time. But for them is mentioned when the route will be again active and with which plane. For BRU no news after 8th March.

Well, because Aeroroutes isn't 100% reliable.
It will resume on 10th March, still with B763.

Do we know how the ME-airlines are doing at BRU? Last November I noticed BRU-DXB (and the other way around) was almost 90-100% full. Maybe one day we can have daily A380 too?

That would be nice but we don't have the triple bridge working. That's one of the main conditions.

A third daily flight, morning flight, would be a bit overkill unless a smaller aircraft would be used. But if that would be the case, EK would have done it already.

Problem also Emirates no longer has slots in Dubai so the only possibility is the A380.
Hasta la victoria siempre.

Not sure that is necessary. I was travelling back through Vienna on Friday (coming from Chisinau) and I saw an A380 from Emirates with only one bridge at the gate. So it is clearly not a must, it depends just on demand ...

If Emirates is expecting a triple bridge, I think that would be a new (to me) requirement, and they currently send their A380s to airports that do not meet that criteria. In the past, they have certainly insisted on a double-bridge though.

They may not have been able to use one when you visited VIE, but the airport has 4 (if memory serves me well) gates with double-bridge. Could be none of them was available for one reason or another. Does BRU have a double-bridge gate even?
