Qantas will next month begin sending most of its B787-9 jets to a storage facility at Victorville. Around 100 aircraft would be stored for up to 12 months, some for longer, and the B787 fleet is part of that.

The FAA is investigating manufacturing flaws affecting certain Boeing 787 jetliners. The agency continues to engage with Boeing. It is too early to speculate about the nature or extent of any proposed Airworthiness Directives that might arise from the investigation.

One more! This morning, Boeing admits a new manufacturing quality problem!
This time, it's with the assembly of the 787 Dreamliner horizontal tail, work done in Salt Lake City.
Not an immediate safety of flight issue, but the delivery of jets is being delayed for inspections.
