Morocco installs a "state of emergency" as from 18h00, and all international flights to/from the country are suspended till further notice.

Hainan flight HU719 (B787-9 reg. B-1138) arrived in BRU today at 18:43, coming from Shanghai PVT. It departed from Brussels again at 20:54, not to return to Shanghai, but towards the Atlantic with the same flight number: it is now off the coasts of Portugal and Morocco. What the hell is it doing there?

And again today. Is this some Covid19 related flight (charter), or a regular service? Funny it routes via Brussels

From The Aviation Herald: "... On 27th March, an EAT Leipzig A300-600 freighter, from Brussels to Copenhagen, was on approach to Copenhagen when the right hand engine experienced vibrations prompting a related EICAS alert. The crew reduced the engine to idle and continued for a safe landing on Copenhagen's runway 04R..."

Incorrect. Please avoid reporting things when you don't know (you = everybody).
Then the airport ombudsman (a federal employee) is also wrong:

Great, now I know that the Avherald isn't verifying what they are posting either but rather copy/paste totally incorrect information. Whomever started spreading this wrong information has done a great job

Again, as 737MAX already said, there was NO issue with the engines whatsoever, rather an indication issue on a totally different system, completely unrelated to the engines.

Lets move on now and enjoy this beautiful weather 8-)

The Ombudsman Service of Brussels Airport is a reliable and official source. And this is what they tweeted: "...Vlucht TB3313 landde vanmorgen op baan 07L ten gevolge van een noodterugkeer nadat een probleem met de linker reactor ondervonden werd..." "...Le vol TB3313 a atterri ce matin en 07 Left suite au retour en urgence après avoir constaté un problème à son réacteur gauche..."

No doubt The Ombudsman Service of Brussels Airport is usually a reliable source, but this time they got their information wrong unfortunately. Sometimes in the heat of the moment things get lost in communication/translation, perhaps that's what happened here. They surely didn't get that information from TUI, who in my opinion would be the only official/credible source in this particular case.

Just to know: what is your reliable source for saying that is was not an engine malfunction?

Some people are, understandably, not keen on actually divulging where they work or what they do within a specific company. Reading the posting history of some members should give you quite a decent clue, though.
