I guess anything is possible, if you put the right amount of money on the table. Sometimes, it just makes sense to have a third party do some modifications.
EIN may have some special wishes in terms of integration or whatnot which could make the modification hideously expensive if done by Airbus, but quite manageable if done by LHT.
I'm not saying that's actually the case here, but it definitely wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks for the info .
So if it's just here in Brussels why is Brussels Airlines not putting Wi Fi on his long haul fleet?
Hasta la victoria siempre.

The landing gear could not be retracted. The problem was solved after return to Brussels Airport. (Source: Wencke Lemmes, VP Communication, Brussels Airlines).

Before some people jump to make quick conclusion, tomorrow, (another Brussels Airlines A330 flight delayed).
SN467 is currently holding at the south of Kigali Airport. There are also a RwandAir Q400 (from Kilimanjaro) and a KLM A330-300 from Amsterdam, currently holding.
I don't know what's happening at Kigali, but it sarted long minute ago, at least before 19h
EDIT: RwandAir Q400, KLM A330, SN A330 are diverting to Entebbe
EDIT 2: very bad weather at Kigali https://twitter.com/johnnykayihura/stat ... 4937039874 & https://twitter.com/DanielSabiiti/statu ... 3477744646
