Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
Good morning!
I'm a student at the WAN in Gosselies and I just saw a British Midlands ERJ-135 or 145 landing, couldn't take a pic of it.
Does someone has an explanation? I can't find it on Flight Radar.

Most likely due to fog at Brussels Airport.
Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
Correct, quite a few diversions from BRU to other aerodromes:
CHH491 Diverted to EBOS
BEL16D diverted to EBCI
BEL26R diverted to EBLG

TUI TB-601 to Punta Cana, dep 09h50 today, is postponed till 09h50 on Sunday.
Aircraft has been amended from 787 into a A330-300 = EuroAtlantic or HiFly probably.
It seems that TUI's Dreamliner OO-JDL is grounded at BRU:

Luckily for the stranded passengers, they had double crew. So TB-602 took off for BRU, two hours after landing at PUJ.Passenger wrote: ↑08 Oct 2017, 11:20Aircraft is EC-MHL:

FR24 mentions an A320, but Austrian media say it's an A321, and their picture shows an A321. Who is right?

Methinks the Austrians have it wrong. Both in the text and in the picture.

I don't now if it's the right place to put it but today because the strike we flew over France from north to south at 5.800 meters.
It was beautiful to see the landscape at this altitude really nice....

Indeed.I don't understand why an ATC strike compels a long-haul aircraft to remain at FL200.

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2017
It might be because the controllers of the upper sectors are striking/initiating flow measures, but the controllers from the lower sectors are not/less stringent.
Hence, you may get a slot which would delay the flight by 5 hours (for example) if you were to fly though an upper sector, but only get a slot of one hour or less (again, for example) if you decide to plan your flight below the restricting sector.
Airspace sectors don't only exist laterally, they can be, and are, split vertically as well.
