Note: nothing to do with Ryanair the airline!

And how did he made it to the gate without a boarding pass ?
Very good question. It looks like security has failed!
He had a connecting flight ? Or he could pass the scanners via his boarding pass on his smartphone?

Anyway verbal agression is getting more common, and it's a sad situation ...

I haven't flown RYR in more than 10 years, so I wouldn't know the answer to my own question, but it seems like a possibility?
You can board an FR flight with the boarding pass in the FR app... if the battery of your smartphone is still working...

Or, he lost his paper boarding pass somewhere...

Even a pdf of the boarding pass is accepted if the original one is lost, so I dont know how this situation started?

One important thing a lot of people seem to forget:
- pax had American citizenship, and according to FR rules needs to get's visa status checked at check-in time or boarding can be denied: https://www.ryanair.com/gb/en/useful-in ... -visas#0-0
This check also implies that non-EU/EEA citizens need to have a printed boarding pass and electronic boarding pass cannot be used.

Ryanair is reportedly in talks with Boeing about placing an order for its proposed new B737 MAX 10.

An internal communication within my company gives some interesting facts about our competitors including Ryanair. Here are some direct quotes:
the total returns to shareholders since 2008 are 5,4 bn€ and this makes Ryanair by a considerable margin the most succesful european airline for the last 10 years. Unit costs continued to fall 11,3pct vs the same period last year. Growth was 13.2pct and average loadfactor is 94%
Impressive figures :o

Very impressive indeed! The pax may not always be happy, but the shareholders certainly are!

Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary says he is “very tempted” to order the B737 MAX 10, but only when the “price is right”, adding that discussions with Boeing are under way.

Michael O’Leary also says his carrier would be interested in buying Alitalia if its commissioners make “major changes and restructuring”, adding he would only buy it for a majority stake.

I am utterly shocked that Ryanair are rolling out this new policy of "pay for seat allocation or else we will make sure that you sit far away from each other". It is totally contradictory to their recent "always getting better" efforts.

For the last 2 days, reviewers on their Facebook page are up in arms about it. I can understand why.
I am also a "victim" for my flight this coming Friday
Since this month complaints have been piling up, Ryanair was forced to issue a statement today. Not convincing the general public (and myself)

Ryanair will not start flights to Ukraine coming winter. It says Kiev "failed to honour growth commitments".

There goes my ticket, there goes my wknd, ...

Looking forward when FR will send their customers the information!

Hotel already cancelled !

80 percent off fees as reason , don't sound really fair to me regarding the other airliners of KBP !
Such as KLM,LH,PS,...

Booked for 70 euro's, fare now as alternative 240 euro's :/
Easyjet please promote FR rescue fares now and start a new route or even better SN with SSJ :p

For the zillionth time, mister O'Leary: European legislation (EU Rule 261/2004) says that is up to the passengers to decide what they want: a refund or a rebooking. When a passenger with a confirmed FR-booking to and/or from Kiev wants a rebooking, Ryanair must arrange this. Including the transfers between the new airport and Kiev. Including hotel accommodation when that becomes necessary.
