Is this phase out schedule still applicable?

I'm wondering how much more time they will take to announce the replacement of the A330 fleet M,N,O are slowly reaching the 25 years....
They had a lot of delays this last month I went to Dakar with 7 hours delay and I came back with 6 hours delay for my wife and I had to take the flight 1 day later....
I really think it's time to do something!
Hasta la victoria siempre.

Yes, at least in that order. It is based on EOL times. Last revenue flight is usually around 4 weeks before end of lease.

Long haul fleet renewal will be announced within the next few months. No later than March.

Brussels Airlines will expand the use of hired-in regional aircraft as it phases out a fleet of Avro RJ100s, the airline said Jan. 12.

The Belgian flag carrier will use three Sukhoi SSJ100 Superjets from Ireland-based CityJet beginning in April, when the aircraft start a two-year contract.

Curious to see if they are going to be painted in SN's colors.

Checking flight radar for a couple of days now, i realized that SN is leasing 3 ERJ145

G-RJXB, G-RJXI and G-RJXM plus the G-RJXG which is doing BRE-BRU-BRE once a day.

So from April, the wet lease will consist in:

3 ERJ145 from BMI Regional
2 Dash Q400 from Flybe
3 SSJ100 from City Jet

G-RJXB, G-RJXI and G-RJXM mainly for Bristol, Nantes, Turin and Nuernberg?
G-ECOI and G-ECOK, the Dash Q400's mainly for Hannover?
Any educated guesses where they'll use the SSJ100? Which destination is too small for an A319? :)

Bromma ? Or is that strip even too small for an SSJ?

Is the SSJ allowed to land and take off at London City Airport or is that still pending? And I think VLM was interested in the SSJ as well a few years ago, so STOL-ports shouldn't be an issue.

SSJ is not certified for LCY, but is able to fly into BMA (limiting factors at BMA are rwy length and noise constraints, not steep approach path like in LCY). There is currently project in place that should enable the A319 to be operates into BMA by the end of 2018.

The primary destinations for SSJ will be BMA, EDI, TXL, BHD, PRG, MAN, MXP, VIE.

But EDI isn't suppose to go airbus? And why would TXL, PRG, MAN, MXP and VIE move to SSJ while those flight are operated on airbus.

Does it mean that it would be additional flights?

MXP is only 1 airbus flight per day, there are 3 flights a day.

It seems to me that for a 2-year contract they could paint them with an SN livery (the CRJ900s leased to SAS are in SAS livery!).

The SSJ will come straight from the factory in a Brussels Airlines c/s.
