Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016
Unconfirmed information for the moment, says the flight BMS 8T operated by aicraft registered as YR-BMA (Blue Air) was allegedly intercepted by two military aircraft of Belgium after failing to answer to radio communication for 30 minutes, while entering the air space of Belgium. Because of that it got a TCAS RA Climb on 400 m, close to the limit of 400m. Allegedly the frequency fo emergencies, 121,5 wasn't monitored by the crew. Could anyone with connections find out more about this incident ?

PH-TFC = a B737-800 from TUI NL (previously Arkefly) from AMS Amsterdam to DKR Dakar as OR-457 just diverted to BRU:

Overweight landing with fire brigade standing by for possible overheated brakes. But an hour and a half later, it was again on its way. So my guess would be medical emergency/diversion??Passenger wrote:PH-TFC ...diverted to BRU

Today's Lot LO-8177 Tallinn-Brussels returned to Tallinn after 40 minutes:

(my guess: medical, because they returned at FL350)

CityJet WX237 (LCY-ANR) diverted to BRU due to adverse weather conditions. All passengers were
transferred by bus to ANR.
Cityjet WX 238 (ANR-LCY) is cancelled and all passengers are offered bus transportation to RTM to travel on WX88.
Why not a bus transfer to BRU where the plane was actually located?

The TUIfly E190 OO-JVA om Alicante (flight TB4222) also tried to land at ANR before diverting to BRU.
And even before landing at ANR at STA 21:25, TB4658 from Malaga is announced as diverting to BRU.
Serious fog at ANR?

Visibility in Brussels 250 meters. Runway visual range 350m. Clouds broken 50 feet. Freezing fog. Several diversions. Follow me service available for pilots on request. Remote de-icing platform open. Temperature minus 2.
Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016
EBAW: vis 100 m./ rvr 400 m./ cloud broken 100ft / freezing fog -> so more arrivals today (the scheduled ones diverted anyway)
Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2016
Several diversions in BRU? I only see Ryanair FR2905 from Malta (B738 EI-DWW) diverted to Charleroi.
