Flat fares ?? (€29) That is not going to work. Must be a scam , or this ship will sink soon.

I saw on another forum that the flat fare is for a particular route for a specific date.
But indeed, doesn't sound like a business model that can work.

The €29 is just what the web designers put as a example fare.

2 aircraft, but I don't know what type. I don't know if the airline knows either ;-)

How reliable is this when they're not on the slot allocation list of SACN?

Strange that someone denies the benefit of yield management.

Strange that someone promotes Facebook for commercial use.

Strange domain name registration for Europortexpress.com:
http://www.whois.com/whois/europortexpress.com

Strange Google findings for this "Zivazu Ltd" : not a single reliable information. Which makes them rather unreliable...

Strange that the airports they are supposed to fly to do not mention them in their "airlines list" (I've only checked Manchester, Geneva, Rotterdam, Humberside).

My conclusion: it's a scam, a hoax or a scholar project from tourism students.

According to usually well-informed CH-Aviation, they will start flying on 17 September with a fleet of Jetstream 32s and Fokker 50s.

Well done, Regi!

I bow my head in deep humbleness. :mrgreen:
I had been thinking about those Jetstreams as well because of Humberside, a typical business destination. It will compete with KLM to AMS.
Most of the business travellers come for steel related activities after the merger between British Steel and Hoogovens, renamed Corus. The merged group was later absorbed in the Tata group.
Tourists usually take the ferry to Hull.
What Durham-Teeside concerns, we see similar business travel connected with the chemical industry of ICI.
And Aberdeen, we all know what Dutch people have to do there - and it is not going about a fishing trip: Royal Dutch Shell. Combine this with the enormous petrochemical works of Pernis and the link has been made.
There are also many contacts between the 2 countries for off shore activities, which need quick on the spot inspections.

I wish them good luck and little turbulence on those TP flights

Yet nothing mentioned on the website of RTM, nor are there any slot request for RTM as of today... Are they going to fly to RTM without slots or is the slot coordinator keeping a secret?

All facts suggest that this is a fake story - a scam. The only reliable aviation report so far, from CH-Aviation, is not confirming the start up. CH-Aviation indeed only reported what the airline tells on its website and Facebook page: “Europort Express (Rotterdam (RTM)) is planning to launch regional services with Jetstream 32s and Fokker 50s from Rotterdam (RTM) on September 17 serving a network that would ultimately include Aberdeen Dyce (ABZ), Dublin International (DUB), Durham Tees Valley (MME), Geneva Cointrin (GVA), Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel (HAM), Humberside (HUY), London Southend (SEN) and Manchester Ringway International (MAN).”

- all referrals to the fleet come from one remark on the airline’s own Facebook page;
- no slots have been requested so far;
- not a single mention on any of the above airports;
- the airline is not registered as company in the UK;
- the airline is not registered as company in the Netherlands, where their main hub is supposed to be;
- the airline has no IATA registration and no ICAO registration;
- the airlines says tickets can be purchased via chat sessions;
- no referral to “jobs” on their website, although a new airline has to start from zero;
- not a single aircraft registration is known so far;
- there is no referral to a physical address and/or telephone number on their website;
- Zivazu (the owner of the domain name europortexpress.com) is unkown for Google;
- a company selling tickets as from 11th June for operations at from 17th September should have advised routing and price indication already months ago;
- it’s unkown which AOC they will use;
- the airline is not known to a booking facility (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, …).

The airline denies the benefits of yield management. Why? Probably because flat rates look sympathic towards customers. But just fact of denying yield management is enough to make them suspicious.
