Since a couple of weeks at Brucargo West they started with the construction of a new, hypermodern construction of 23.000m². Total area will be 27.000m²
DHL Global Forwarding will move all activities to this place.
What does this mean for the other existing DHL-buildings. E.g. the one near the bus station level...this building looks already very empty...
Hi OO-ITR,
The building of DHL aviation at the terminal is not involved in this case.
The new building at Brucargo West is a landside building and the purpose is to centralise everything what we can find of them at Brucargo in general. If you see now how growed they have to work and how dangerous it is (trucks, cars, busses after the second roundabout), it was more then urgent that they could use a new building. Those elder building will be or demolished or revamped.
When DHL aviation should be involved than they had to start with one of the two airside building with tarmac connection who are also in the pipeline.
