Maybe I'll use my miles to upgrade to C... Don't know yet. I don't want to fly across the pond in Y because of the very limited room but on the other hand, I can just keep myself busy by walking around for 7 hours Still waiting for an answer from SN, yesterday they promised that they could assign exit seats due my length (2m04) but after booking and calling nobody seemed able to do so... Oh well, we'll see what the result it. Worst case is walking around and standing

OK... No upgrading through miles... Contacted SN through Twitter and they told me that it would be no problem. Called UA to upgrade and UA told me no can do, only Y & B are eligable for upgrades...

Nice... B (nearly full fare) = 2.080 EUR all in, Z (business discount) = 2.180 EUR all in, why should one waste miles to upgrade a B or Y fare when one can book a Z fare for the same money?

Oh well, I have a decent seat in Y so I won't complain

In March,to Pisa again (visit of San Miniato); to Marseille; and to Girona, coming back from Perpignan.
April : to Manchester (a look at the IWM, too rainy for the Air Park); then to Nîmes, coming back from Montpellier; and to Budapest.
May : to La Rochelle, coming back from Bordeaux; and to Manchester again (visit of the Air Park, weather permitting).

And in June a first visit to the new Berlin airport - with easyJet.

I had not realized that there are now (summer season) two daily return flights Charleroi-Manchester (excepted on saturday, one only).
A very good day return is possible on monday, wednesday and friday - arrival at MAN at 9; return at 19.35, 19.20 or 19.55 resp.

I was also surprised by the 2nd daily flight to MAN, in fact I was looking for opportunities to fly the new route to BUD, but finally ended up trying various destinations. The schedule is indeed perfect for a daytrip, weather will decide if I go to the city or stay around the airport for some spotting... Good to hear that I gave you some ideas haha !
