Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Hi,
Is there some kind of shedule when and which RJ85 will be phased out in 2012 ?
With OO-SSW coming soon, which one has to go ?
When will we see the upgrades/replacements of the RJ85 into RJ100 into the flightsheme ?
When the airplane actually arrives or when the bird is planned to arrive ?

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
In the new b-spirit for January/February 2012 the amount of RJ85's is mentionned like this: "8 (Jan); 7 (Feb)". So in February SN will have only half the amount of RJ85's they once had (14)... The end of the RJ85 in SN's fleet is comming closer and closer (October 2012)...
For the 737's still: 2 733's and 4 734's.

Is this correct? Because I think 4 733's (inc. OO-LTM) are still flying, but only 3 734's.MR_Boeing wrote: For the 737's still: 2 733's and 4 734's.
Is OO-VEK stored and the next to go?

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
The SN fleet will look a lot better with the odd 737s gone, imo. And also a lot more efficient with the RJ85 gone.
Even if all the RJ85 will be gone soon, there will still be a place for a 70-80 seaters in SN's fleet. Although it will be filled by wet-leases temporarily, I am curious what SN long-term strategy is on this topic. Any thoughts?
Same goes for RJ100, they won't be in the fleet for another decade (or even half a decade), I can't really believe the A319 will be the smallest plane in their fleet eventually. As wet leases can't be a long term strategy...
Can't they smack a hell of a deal out of Mitsubishi as the European launch customer?

Re 733 in SN fleet: OO-VEG flew to Bacau today; would that be for maintenance? OO-VEN is back in operation and OO-VEH is still flying; OO-LTM was still flying for SN a few days ago. Only OO-VEX seems out so far, and possibly OO-VEG.

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Just saw this on airfleets in Brussels Airlines' fleet summary: OO-SND, Airbus A320-214: "To enter in service".
First flight was on 02/07/2002, delivered to LTU on 29/08/2002 after that in service for Air Berlin (like the other two A320's that joined SN last year).
AND
OO-SNC, Airbus A320-214, first flight 26/04/2002, also delivered to LTU, on 11/06/2002 and now in service of Air Berlin.
So now there are OO-SSW, OO-SNC, OO-SND and HB-IQC to join SN's fleet (that we know of now).

VEG is in BCM for maintenance and end of lease. So will not fly again for B.air.convair wrote:Re 733 in SN fleet: OO-VEG flew to Bacau today; would that be for maintenance? Thank you bruteboeing.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
OO-VEX spotted 18dec2011 at BRU in full Ukraine International colors, should be UR-GBA now
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Anyone an idea about delivery dates and EIS dates for these 4 Airbusses (A332, A319 and 2 A320's) and about the routes they'll fly on? Last time I checked some AFI destinations it seemed all flights for S12 were still loaded as A333 operated...don't know if this already changed, if not, how long can this take before it changes?
And are there already more A319 and A320 flights loaded or is this not done yet either?
Same questions count for the Q400's, btw.

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
OO-DJQ is leaving for London Southend tomorrow as SN9903, probably the last flight for SN.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
OO-SSW arrived on 17th Jan in BRU, as EI-ETG

Still non of the "new" planes are registered in the Belgian register.
OO-SFZ A332
OO-SFY A332
OO-SSW A319
OO-SNC A320
OO-SND A320
Still need to be registered.
Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
What about the 2 146 "transfered" to Korongo that are still sitting in BRU? Does SN still have anything to do with them? Or are they completely forgotten?

Re: Replacement of SN's Avro RJ and B737 fleet
Indeed and then oo-ltm offcourse,
but we all know he's flying some sn flights several times,
but it's getting weird to see these birds in korongo colours while
they're still,sitting duck here
Maybe they can put them in the sn shedules for now and put a sticker on it like the tyroleans..
They can't say to pax they're leaving soon for afi for more then a year now ?
Still no Korongo progress?,don't think they will fly the afi sky soon then,..
and guess another airDC.. like ..catastrophe..
