Splendid weather the past 4 days, however nothing showed up in the skies. Reason well known, until the 19th.
Jettime B737-300 OY-JTC at 37000 ft overhead EBBR heading south as JTG9517. Welcome back contrails...
Image

But afterall it was an interesting period, just to see Cirriform clouds not been formed from the exhausts of planes.
Such must have been ages ago for Belgium, presumable since the period around World War II.

just seen on radar Frankfurt Main Planes to west coast of america routing over north london, over Heathrow (news reporters giving ruuning commentry on "vapour trails" live on BBC News Channel) then via compton vor. Frankfurt Main usually route over northern England (Ottringham, Pole Hill vors) only Amsterdam Flights routing over the north.

Hope this resolves itself as i'm off to Cuba a Fortnight tomorrow

Low Pressure Anticylone on its way to us (first time i think i've ever said this) Bring on the low pressure

A nice adding this evening, normally only overhead in the east at 0600am, so no descent shot possible.

Most of us use a telescope: a typical setup can be found via this link

Nice one contrailwatcher, without solar filter I also enjoy making some pics with planes in front of sun(rises-sets).

Here one to end the month, the ugly double duck which became a common sight at our airways, but sadly not on UL608.

Hello DC10MD11 i think your photos are very good, but a little foggy... so i dared to copy them and try to remove some of the "dust"[similar on my pictures] or whatever that is. I think that the result is better view of details on plane, and unfortunately also lens effect, but important is the plane isn`t it? :)
If you wanted to post pictures as they are, then ignore this and keep on posting ;)

When i see your posts and others[skystef...] just can´t wait to get better equipment...
