Hi,
the scope seems for no money, but there could be a problem with the high F ratio: in this case f/11.6. So given a fixed acceptable shutter speed you have: dark images with low iso setting or correct exposed images with high iso values (but then they have rather large pixels = grainy).
You also need a ring to attach the cam to the scope, don't know it exists for this type of cam.

Re: Is this telescope any good?
I had this telescope and wanted to take contrail pictures but it was very difficult,
so i had a look to see what telescopes took best pictures for best price,
i found this picure on flickr:

This is taken with a 6" Dobson Celestron Skyhopper which i think is now discontinued but Skywatcher do the 6" Skyliner for £189.99 from Harrisons
http://www.harrisontelescopes.co.uk/aca ... scope.html,
its a budget scope for contrail spotting but for extra £80 you could get 8" Skyliner

most people on this site use this scope with excellent results.
hope this helps
