I flew with SN to Bristol this year (3 November).
After a drive from 2 hours due to a traffic jam I arrived at the airport.
This was 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
After a really quick checking at the SN counter I passed the security check and started my walk to the plane that already began boarding.
My seat was 5F. So I had a nice windowseat just behind the Bussiness class.
Before take off we received a nice cup of orange juice. From 2 really friendly FA's.
Just 10 minutes after take off I had a nice Cheese with Ham sandwich with a cup of tea. Everyone had his sandwich after 25 minutes of flying. With a loadfactor of approx: 85%.
Also a softdrink and a chocolat was offered to everyone.
The return fligt (6 Nov) was just as good as the flight to Bristol. We could already start boarding 15 minutes earlier. This time a had seat 12A. Also this was a nice Window seat just behind the wings and the engines.
Again just after takeoff everyone received a sandwich, Chicken curry this time. Included was a nice cup of tea and a softdrink or Beer if you want to.
After a really soft landing at Brussels we taxied to the gate and my flight was over again.
So I'm really pleased with the service SN offers you againts a good price. This was my second time flying SN. First SN flight was to Geneva.

SN Flight from Brussels to Bristol
Thanks for the nice report
Do you remember the registrations of the Avros you flew on?
A pity BD replaced SN on the BRU-LBA
Best regards

SNBA flights to the UK appear to be as successful as SABENA flights used to be. I remember the BRU-LBA (Leeds-Bradford) were very often close to 95% loadfactor...AN124 wrote:The loadfactor on my returnflight was 90 % I guess.
Return flight was done with a RJ100.

My first ever Sabena flight was on an Avro RJ, and that only had a cabin crew of two - a steward and a stewardess.sn26567 wrote:Thanks for nice report, Antonov.
Only 2 F/As? That's below SN standards, just like LH! Usually there are 3 f/As on SN Avro flights.
But if service is OK, who cares?
They managed perfectly well between them on a full plane.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.
