Hi,

its moved from Brucargo to there to make some place i guess, its the one that had the tailstrike, its fixed and should go back to the leasing company.
some pieces are removed to keep the other 747-200 alive.
sad to see it in such conditions ....

As far as I know, CBA (the one with no titles, etc.) will disapear, CBC (400F)is flying the cargo, and for now CBB (in front of LH Technics) is kept as a backup for CBC. This is what I've heard, correct me if I'm wrong.

How could it go back to the leasing company if some parts, including engines, are removed?
Will it be repaired then?

Reportedly one Southern Air flight was a (empty?) ferry flight BRU-LTX.

I suppose that the leg to BRU was with cargo?

Just wondering :how can an airline be profitable if you are paying leases and pilots for 3 747's and in practice only uses 1 to generate income...?

It doesnt look, to me, that this aircraft will fly out of Brussels.
Perhaps the firebrigade will get a new toy, or we will have this sad sight for some months or years ahead....

The last thing I've heard is that the would be cutting it up and selling it as scrap, because the damage at the rear bulkhead would to expensive to repair.

SQC had another arrival from South America this morning, while the BB arrival was cancelled.

Also the BB3101 departure this evening is again cancelled.

I "suppose" OO-CBC is currently getting maintenance somewhere to get its winglet fixed and apparently OO-CBB is not being used as a backup.

Arr: BB 101F AMS 1430 OO-CBC
Dep: BB 3401 LTX 1730 OO-CBC

I guess CBC is coming back from AMS with the winglet now fixed again.

CBB was being worked on in front of the LH Technik hangar.

Regarding CBA, I hope they'll find a quick solution for the plane, because the way it is standing visible for everyone, it is no sight at all.
