TUIfly (Germany) has been introduced as a new brand used for the carrier formed with the merger of Hapagfly and Hapag-Lloyd Express. TUIfly currently operates a fleet of 49 B737s.
TUI is planning to start using the TUIfly brand for its subsidaries Arke Fly (OR/Amsterdam), Corsair (SS/Paris Orly), Jetairfly (TB/Brussels) and Thomsonfly (BY/London Luton) over the course of the next couple of years as well. TUI has also announced an order for additional 41 B737NGs for its carriers.
TUIfly has taken delivery of its first ex-dba (DI/Munich) B737-300 and announced a variety of new routes:
Cologne/Bonn-Graz: 4x weekly B737-700 service starting on March 25
Hamburg-Olbia: 2x weekly B737-700/-800 service starting on April 28
Hanover-Rimini: weekly seasonal B737-500 service between July 12 and September 6
Leipzig/Halle-Milan Orio al Serio: 4x weekly B737-300 service starting on March 25
