Nope no 25th was given, only the schedule of departure was mentionned and this was (and still is) the 26th.ILS25L wrote:I checked the database this morning and the days before and I thought this flight was expected on 25/04.
Spotted the RA-12957 on UL608 at 17000 ft. RA-11025 landed indeed at BRU around 1715, heard it but thought it was a usual C130 of BAF.SpottingEHBK wrote:I saw two Kosmos Air Antonov 12 aircraft flying overhead Maastricht; one which took off from Maastricht Airport and another one heading towards Brussels (in direction of FLO), descending trough approximately 10000ft with flightnumber KSM9631, could be that this one (RA-11025) landed at Brussels.
UL609
at that flightlevel its should be the L608 stef

hi there,
I'm new to this part of the forum.
Is it possible that at around 17.45 lt today I saw some kind of awacs descending in to zaventem airport??
I saw it on the way home while driving through Kampenhout.
I work at the airport for 4 years now and I've never seen this kind of ac before.
Did anyone else see it?
edit: I'm not the only one apparently, good for me, I thought I was loosing it.

Well well Mr. MayHem, I am glad to see your observation seems to confirm mine and vice versa. It would seem the AWACS performed a touch and go, or perhaps several, this has been reported before. Why they don't go training at a less busy airport, don't ask me! But at least EBOS is also used for their practice, and probably more airports.
By the way, be welcome to this place!

Yes you're right, UL starts in Belgium from 19500 ft. But L608 doesn't exist either, so we should refer it as M624.mavke wrote:at that flightlevel its should be the L608 stef
Yes, it was a touch & go of LX-N90442.jan_olieslagers wrote:24th april about 17h55 local, on the train from Brussels to Mechelen, I saw taking of from 25R what I take to be an AWACS. I saw her from right below, it certainly was a quad jet with a big dish antenna atop - confirmations please?
Somewhere @ airport, it surely didn't leave.Sabena_690 wrote:Does anybody know where the F50 is parked? Didn't find it this evening...
