Yes indeed, a quite large area of high detail was added. It includes not only Antwerp airport but also Grimbergen EBGB, but still with the old fuel truck in place so I reckon the photography must be a year or two old, at least.
Nice to see that my own house is there in detail, also! The absence of the newly-built house across the street confirms the age of the information. Perhaps their sources won't allow publication of very recent stuff?

Outter-space marketing
Locate the Warsaw-Okecie/Chopin (WAW) airport in Poland and zoom in on the LOT hangar in the Northern part of the airport. Don't you find that the logo on the roof is wonderful in quality? Who would have guessed that this is actually a satellite photo... great marketing.

Not everything is sattelite photos in Google Earth... When you zoom in and the image has a high qualtity, it's photos taken from an aircraft.YULover wrote:Who would have guessed that this is actually a satellite photo...
40° 8'37.52"N, 124°29'30.04"E Korean bombing squad and the supporting fighters 40° 9'14.99"N, 124°31'44.66"E, Some heavy fighters (Mig-23 ?) 39°30'44.78"N, 125°57'27.21"E. Seems like Korea also has some frogrfoots at 39°24'16.80"N, 125°53'56.22"E. It is also intersting to look sideways so you can see how Mr. Kim Jong Il hides his planes!

It's still pretty good/clear marketing, I find, geared at air travellers, be it on airliners or on Google Airlines.AlexanderM wrote:Not everything is sattelite photos in Google Earth... It's not really spotting, but it's really great and has to do with Google Earth:
You can see the flightpaths of all aircraft in and out of AMS in 3D! I would love to have that for BRU!

Kind regards,
