Differences between 757 - 767 - 777

Post by Captain »

Can anyone give me some advice on how to recognise a Boeing 757 from a 767 and a 777 (vice versa).

What are the main differences between these planes to be able to say which model they are?

I see that a lot of people can tell very easily from a picture.

Thanks,

Captain.

The 757 is narrower than the other two and has a more bulbous nose.

The 777 has really huge looking engines compared to other twin jets, and it is also quite a bit longer than the 767.
Sabena and Sobelair - gone but never forgotten.

The 777 is not only longer but also wider, it is a much larger plane, and is a design on its own(first computer designed).
More details will follow ....

Dont forget the wheels :!:

The B777 has 6 wheels on each set of main gears and not the usual 4

In fact in my avatar you can clearly recognize the 777, not because of the engine.
From the front you see the slight bulge above the cockpit (crew resting area)distinctively.
