MUC-BRU BRU round flight BRU-MUC on SNBA

Post by Jumbolino »

Hi,
yesterday evening Bart asked me if I would like to place my flight experience here
of course I like :-)
most recent one was last weekend on SNBA
MUC-BRU BRU round flight BRU-MUC on SNBA

on fourth of october I woke up real early in the morning because I had to bring my car into the garage before going to the airport.
Car trip to Munich wasn't very eventful, except a netherland car which meant with 120 km/h onto a german autoroute on the left side is the right place
When I parked my car in Munich it rained cat's and dog's (not for british guys, of course !) so I called a taxi which brought me to the airport, due this unplanned car ride I was really early and had several cups of coffee. Check-In was very fast and the guy asked me if I like to have the reserved aisle seat or if I like a window seat more - of course I liked ! So I had gotten seat number 7A gate D08 for SN 2544 04 OCT boarding time 11:35 departure 12:05.
Boarding itself was funny - first it was a bus boarding, but the bus braught us to a place where it was a gate boarding indeed - so unfortunatly I could not see the registration.
As usual flight was on time and amazing too it was real good booked, very good for a flight at best lunch time.
Like usual on SNBA we got a welcome drink while taxiing - even in eco ! catering was - for me - a cheese sandwich and a Stella
afterwards a coffee - like usual nearly nobody wanted tea
Well before I forget it to mention we departed directly after a Ural Airlines Tri-Star - I'm not too familiar with russian build aircraft, but I think it was a Tupolev, nice pic (unfortunatly I didn't take a real pic of it).
Landing in Brussels was - of course - ON TIME it's nothing special for SNBA
In the evening my former "chief" of Sabena showed me Rich and me Leuven including Interbrew building and we had a beer in a tavern and afterwards a dinner in another tavern - amazing
Sunday it was the day of SNBA open door http://www.airliners.net/discussions/tr ... ain/36620/

my seat was 11A and Patrick was soooo generous that I could have the window seat all over the flight

Monday I tried to reach my agency, the real nice thing came yesterday, hopefully it will work then you will see me as an frequently guest in Brussels
My flight back was on 6th of OCT A40 10C (but I could change with the guy who had 10 A, I introduced him that I like aviation and ... you all know how it works and it seemed he was real afraid of flying so the aisle was a lot better for him SN2645 Boarding time 15:45 departure 16:10

the same great service as on all the other flights !

Sorry that it's that short, but it was great like usual when flying SNBA !

The other more recent one will follow within the next minutes ;-)

Jumbolino.

It had to me an appearence of déjà-vu. I wondered why, and then I remembered you posted a link in one of your previous messages:
my short trip rep (because Fred said almost everything about the round flight) is up here

Anyway, nice to show your report on Luchtzak as well. Frederic, take note !!!
