Great news, can't wait to see some pictures of this "tres belle" aircraft at AMS.
In theory I could be at AMS, but I have no idea where this aircraft will land (which runway) and where she will be parked (I guess at Schiphol-Oost?).
I guess she won't be open for public (would have been too nice of KLM), so there is no way to get close to here (if she doesn't stand near the fence). And on the other hand, I do not feel like needing to walk around the whole airport to get close to the aircraft.

Are other luchtzak members heading to AMS that day to spot the "tres belle" aircraft?

F-WWYE s/n 682 will be PH-AOA named "Dam-Amsterdam", fleet number OA-501.

Looks like KLM could not keep the secret until the 25th, it has leaked already.

following a discussion about PTV fitted in KLM's long-haul planes: https://www.aviation24.be/posts12834-highlight.html

Will this new A330 have PTV installed in every seat?

A330's for KLM will be the same as their T7's with PTV's in all seats. The system on the T7 is about as good as i have seen so those flights will be good!

PH-AOA named "Dam-Amsterdam", has arrived at her new homebase Amsterdam. After a fly-by on runway 22, it made finally her first landing at runway 27 just before 4.00pm this afternoon.

Welcome to Amsterdam PH-AOA!

She looks sooooo darn beautiful, I really love the looks of this bird combined with the striking KLM livery. I wish her, her crew and her passenger many safe flying hours and many happy landings!

 "Celebrate good times, come on!!!" :drink:

Yes its to bad that Europe`s last only Boeing ? Mc Douglas long haul carrier get strick in the nets of airbus...

I hope that the a330 will have the same carreer as the a310.... so in a year of 10 whe have ( again ) an only Boeing long haul fleet.

She looks absolutely stunning in the KL colors, but they could have thought of a more original name though...

Unfortunately, the movies don't want to start...

Anyway, though there are still no cabin pics of this aircraft :( (except the one of airliners.net)... I hope someone has any links to more stuff about this beautiful plane. ;)

Just save them on your hard-disk (under "doel opslaan als"), and then they will work. At least, then they have worked fine with me.
