I've just checked A.net picture datebase (maybe you could check that next time also), and KLM's B767's do not have any PTV's, just the normal overhead screens.

And I also checked Air France's A330's on A.net, but there are no useful pictures so I'm not sure about that one, I think they have no PTV's. Or do have other Air France aircraft that have been ordered in the same time-span PTV's?

You would think these modern European airlines would all fit in PTV's! I know it costs a lot for existing planes but they could charge people for the headsets! It seems that the level of service for passengers and the joys of flying are just going downhill!

See this Luchtzak post and some pictures of the embarrassing lack of PTV's for the Spanish flag carrier: https://www.aviation24.be/posts12805-highl ... 3e1b530e3e

1) KLM

Only the B772 has PVT's in Economy. The interior of the B744's will be upgraded, but reportedly without PVT's as well.

2) Air France

Airfrancefan is correct: ALL but most of the B744's have PVT's in Y.

i find it rude to charge for a headset after already paying a massive ticket-fare. then just include the 2 euro or so in the ticket, nobody will notice.

personally i can understand it that when planes are going to be phased out shortly (as with KL767's) that they do not convert the seats, and frankly i don't really bother such an issue, it is a nice to have, but more importantly than anything else is that KL can get me to a whole lot of places non-stop from my base. i don't want to spent hours in washington DC transfering and hauling my luggage again on my way to California just to have private screens ;-)

The new A332's will have PVT's.

The AF 332's do have PTV's but I often wonder why they bother - the selection is grim at best. On my last flights with the 332 they had the Love Boat and MacGyver on one channel!!!
