Finally my first 777 and A321 rides

Post by A318 »

Since I am changing from Airline company soon I had to finish my vacation days which means I booked 2 days ago a flight to Florida.
Vacation time in Europe, high prices and full planes forced me to look at non direct flights.
We ended up with United Airlines and when I saw the airplanes we will fly I got a smile on my face from ear to ear which got noticed by my wife.
AMS-IAD vv Boeing 777................YES ;)
IAD-FLL vv Airbus 32S (321 expected)........YES ;)

I could never compare my B737 rides with a A32S ride but in 3 weeks I will.
Now I am looking double forward to that trip, I will let you know the results!

I would love to see pictures from your B777 and A321 adventure (in and outside views). I've never been on both types myself.

My first B772 trip will be on Air France to CAI early September
and I am counting down already!!

Out of curiosity: in which booking class will you be flying? I'd try to get in the Economy Plus section (certainly on the international flights)!! And that's possible when you buy unrestrictive Economy tickets (or when you are lucky and they put you in there at check in if you ask it nicely ;)).

Enjoy your flights!

Since we were pretty late with our booking the plane is as good as full.
I couldn't even get seats on our way to IAD so I have to see during checkin.
On our way back to AMS we have the latest two seats 37D 37E which is not so good but maybe I can change it during checkin, too bad I don't know anybody from UA in AMS ;)
As the confirmation says:

From: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS (AMS) map Departs: 12:50pm
Gate: Check for latest information
To: WASHINGTON DULLES, DC (IAD) map Arrives: 3:15pm
Class: Economy Seat: Check-In Required
Status: Confirmed
Meal: Lunch , Snack or Brunch Smoking: No
Aircraft: BOEING 777 JET Mileage: 3852
Flight Time: 8 hours and 25 minutes

Last info I found on the UA website is this:
(Operated by United For Ted).
