I would like to show my solidarity with the many victims of the Tsunami-disaster in South-East Asia. For one week I have followed this disaster on television and it has deeply shocked me and my family. Last week, my mum called to the bank to deposit some €€ , maybe it was not much but better than nothing. When the employee heared we wanted to deposit money, he didn't know what to say.

PS: don't forget to put your "rijksregistrernummer" on the form as soon as you give € 30.

Your sorrow and disbelief over these events is shared by all who read these items, if you are unsure how you can help and live outside of Belgium, please contact your local RED CROSS.

They have requested that aid consist of monetary donations, air transport is too costly to deliver food and clothing at this time.

I am not sure, but it is not mentioned on the website www.1212.be

I alos checked on thier website, anyway I already donated some money. I hope everybody on this forum donates !

You only need to give that number if you want to receive a receipt for you tax payement (you get money back from the state if you pay more than €30).
