Hello folks!

sab319 , i hope it is indeed because of that. Because another
long-haul airline bankrupt...damn...that would be one more disappointment.

By the way , than BEAP can't start it's operations because they've planned
to lease 2 B767's from the Exel airlines group...so.

Lets hope and pray.

Best Christmas regards: Yannick :wink:

I wonder if BEAP still has a lot of trust in Exel ??

Why sad to go ?

On the other hand it can open even the market for BEAP (flying for Thomas Cook , operating the longhaul flights)

Or...

Thomas Cook would maybe start with their own A330 ??

Would be nice in the TCW Livery !

In my opinion, the ExelAviationGroup is just one big mistake in general ! Almost every aircraft is operating with another airline brand. Some names that come into my mind :

* BelgiumExel
* HollandExel
* BonairExel
* DynamicExel
* GrandaExel
* ArubaExel
* AlsaceExel
* DutchCaribbeanExel
* LoirExel

This project was doomed to fail !

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Air Exel is flying the AMS-MST route again since this evening.
And there are also still no signs of HXL and BXL that indicate they stopped flying.

So please start to make conclusions already because nothing is sure it this point in time. Let's concentrate at the facts.

The flight out of Brussels for this evening night is due out at 1:20 and nothing indicates this flight won't be flown.

Best Regards,
Yvo

Hello Africair,

Sorry but totally NOT correct. Loirexel did not stop operations. Air exel, Loirexel and Alsaceexel continue to operate in the same way as they did before. GrandaExel did stop the flights but not because of a lack of money but in a mutual agreement with cuneo airport.

Hi all
I don't want to throw some oil on fire, but all websites of exel (all their airlines) are already all morning out of the air.
No bookings can be made, etc....

Dutch newspaper informed us this morning that mr e. de vlieger wants to sell his share in the exel aviation group. His IMCA website has no link anymore to the aviation part.

There is a lot going on today (and already since weeks) in the Netherlands.

Story will be continued.

Speaking of a bloodbath!

Dutchbird confirmed on Wednesday that 3 B757's will stay grounded until Friday. Boeing who owns these aircraft put them on the chain....

I'm sorry for all the people working for them.

I noticed during my trip to Phuket they were not that happy.

Maybe they knew something was wrong?

"Exel Aviation Group announced Wednesday that it appointed Bart Drechsel as interim-manager. Drechsel worked with KLM and Indian Jet Airways."

This sounds very familiar, and it sounds like Lernhout & Hauspie.

Hello

Well , indeed they have already one A330-200. But i don't think Thomas
Cook Belgium is that busy that they have to use a 330. I would like it.

Indeed looks very nice in Thomas Cook colors (former JMC??? / also very
nice).

And what i mean that when the Exel group is gone...weeks maybe months fly by , when before they found another airline to operate the long-haul
flights...that's not what i like. Nobody likes a bankruptcy, especially the
staff not.

Best christmas regards: Yannick :wink:

Hello everybody,

At 10:33, I saw the BelgiumExel 767 taking off from 25R when I was at Abelag. So they are still in the air currently (I hope they will survive until the end of the year).

Regards, Robin Bamps.

Hi;

There was a staff meeting yesterday, some decisions were probably made such as: Mister Prins handed over his shares to mister De Vlieger.

There are a lot of rumours but plz be concentrated on the facts...

Robin: Thats 1 week, isn't that a little bit pessimistic and overreacted?

From what I know: all outbound flights left today(from AMS and BRU hub)

Tommy

You do not give them much hope, Robin.
But I have to concede, you did not mention until the end of what year...
Let's give them hope and say until the end of 2020 :?:

Tommypilot,

I hope evertyhing will be okay, but I have my doubts.

The F/A on my flight with them said, with a lot of sarcasm:
"Wij zijn goed bezig" Meaning :"This is not what it should be".

And as Fons mentioned: "It's X-Mas for everyone" So to all of you, have fun and enjoy while you can.
