Basiq Air/Transavia has announced that its new route from Amsterdam to Pau in France which is planned to start at 23 December, will be stopped on 8 January 2005. All flights after that date have been cancelled.
The reason Basiq Air provides on its web site is that the Pau Chamber of Commerce "can not guarantee their part of the deal" in making the new route a success.
The site of the Pau airport (http://www.pau.aeroport.fr/) does not mention the termination yet.
