I was just at the plant a couple of weeks ago and they were painting them at that time. I believe Air France had one of them, the others were Malaysia and ANA I think, or possibly Qantas

Post by bits44 »

Boeing commercial aircraft announced today an order for Air France
for Boeing 777's worth one Billion U.S. dollars, this is akin to selling
refrigerators to eskimo's isn't it?, I belive they have options on about 10 more but that will be confirmed later.

Thanks Westjet,
Do you know if this is a new order by Air France or just part of the existing order.

I can't find a link to it, can you help.

Thanks,

Ruscoe

Yes it is all new and all the new extended range models I believe, I think that might bring their orders and delivered up to ten, but I may be a bit optimistic.

I see the Singapore 777's are not in the DEc14th update of Boeing orders.

Has it not yet been signed?
