Air Holland Caught For Drug Smuggling!

Today, after the many researches done on Air Holland by the Dutch Government, after it was declared bankrupt, most of the stories have been proven false. One astonishing appeared though in the Dutch newspapers. In the NRC, it stated that Air Holland allowed smuggling aboard their aircraft, and that they even transported the drugs for these dealers. This was mostly on the Amsterdam- Curacao route. In total, more than 600 kilos were found, and an amazing amount of 25 million Euros were found! Probably, Holland Exel will has have an ego problem, since it also employs much of the Air Holland staff, aircraft, and managing director, who is also accused, since he was one of the main people in Air Holland. Well, good luck Holland Exil! Wonde what will happen next!

I think that if this story of drug smuggling is true then this is very scarlett on the face of aviation.

Airlines and airplanes are seen as good will ambassadors and if they do such dastardly acts, will suspiscion not arise in an already uncertain world with such un chartered times.

Except that Air Holland was not yet in his hands when the drug scandal occurred. I know that Erik de Vlieger has his hands full of scandals, but you cannot blame him for this one.

In general it goes about 2 things: smuggle of cocaine and money laundrying from narcotic profits into/through the Air Holland company.

AMSTERDAM - Justitie heeft opnieuw drie aanhoudingen verricht in verband met de Air Hollandzaak.

Naar nu blijkt is al op 24 november in Loosdrecht een 51-jarige man aangehouden die volgens justitie betrokken was bij de invoer van 633 kilo cocaïne voor 'de Air Hollandbende'. De drugs, afkomstig uit Brazilië, waren verpakt in een container vol zakken koffiebonen. De container, die eind juli al door het HARC-opsporingsteam werd onderschept in Rotterdam, had een afleveradres in Nootdorp.

Inmiddels worden zes mannen verdacht van betrokkenheid bij de invoer van die megapartij. Onder hen een 34-jarige Rotterdammer, die wordt gezien als de leider van de smokkelgroep. Hij zou ook de opdrachtgever zijn voor een mislukt transport van veertig kilo cocaïne van Peru naar Nederland in 2003.

Ook zijn twee mannen aangehouden vanwege de smokkel van 3,5 kilo cocaïne voor de bende. De drugs waren afkomstig uit Suriname. Het duo is inmiddels op vrije voeten omdat de rechter het verzoek om in bewaringstelling heeft afgewezen. Justitie blijft hen verdenken van drugssmokkel.

Inmiddels is ook Birgit J., de 34-jarige vriendin van hoofdverdachte Paul G., vrijgelaten. Zij werd op 26 oktober in Bussum aangehouden. De vrouw wordt nog wel verdacht van witwassen van drugsgeld.

Paul G. zit nog vast op verdenking van witwassen en deelname aan een criminele organisatie. Hij zou als financieel directeur van Air Holland miljoenen drugseuro's in de hebben rondgepompt.

De twee leiders van de Air Hollandbende, de Haagse broers Aiwan G. en Shardanand G., worden eveneens verdacht van witwassen, deelname aan een criminele organisatie en heling.
