British web-site jethros.i12.com reports two former RYR 737-200s are being broken up for parts at Glasgow-PIK airport. At least six of them are stored there.
EI-CKQ Boeing B732-2K2 22906 / 888 B/U Prestwick
EI-CKR Boeing B732-2K2 22025 / 647 B/U Prestwick
Colleague 737-204 EI-CJH doesn't appear to fare much better!

I thought they were all sold to an American lease company?
Or do they just get out the good parts & ship those to America & let the rest for scrap?

Why can't they send them to a museum or something like that?

Sad to see them being broken up.
I don't think to company's sponsoring the logojets will be happy if they are broken up in their full colours. This would be bad publicity for them.
