I didn't know that any 767s were painted in DHL colors.

I thought they were all painted in the ABX Air livery or the old Airborne Express colors.

Andre

Posted here as you locked my other thread - not sure why.

Thanks for the link but I think that you can see the problem. The posting was made in the News forum under the title "ABX 767 F in new DHL colors " which looks like many similar posts giving a link to a a-net picture showing a new scheme., not the opportunity to see a rarity. I can think of no other 767 freighter in the last year (prepared to be inundated with sighting reports) so a quick post in a planespotting forum would be nice for those of us not able to be at airports all day.

I'm noticing the cargo door and wondering about the future of the ABX C-Containers. In the event that they did switch entirely to the traditional containers they would be left with a lot of aircraft without the capability to handle them. On the other hand the C-Containers are not compatible with the rest of the DHL network. I suppose they could convert all the 767s and use the C-Container aircraft for domestic flights to or from ILN or other former ABX facilities while trying to route all the stuff flying in or out of the former DHL Airways facilities (assuming many of the international flights will operate out of them) on either the ASTAR aircraft or the freighter mod ABX aircraft.
Really I dunno
