New Ryanair routes

Ryanair today announced four new daily routes: from London Stansted to Brno (Czech republic), Granada (Spain) and Wroclaw (Poland) and from London of Gatwick to Knock (Ireland). Furthermore Ryanair increased flights on the existing routes of London Stansted to Cork (4 instead of 3 flights per day), Shannon (4 instead of 2 flights per day) and that a second daily service of London to N?s (France).

Didn't Michael O'Leary once say (not so long ago) that he was not interested in Eastern Europe? :?

He doesn't want to be left behind by easyjet after their successful move into the east. O'Leary is quite a character - the aviation industry needs people like him and stelios i think.

And some more hot news: Ryanair will expand further in Italy after the collapse of Volare. Ryanair will hold a press conference tomorrow in Milan.

Last week I read that they also want to open routes to the Canary Islands. Quite sure they will start operating to the Gando airport (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) in the future.

Ryan Air launches new Irish Hub

Europe's biggest budget airline Ryanair launched another European hub on Tuesday at Shannon Airport in the west of Ireland, and said it was also looking to expand in Italy.

Way to go Ryan Air.
