Hi TBK,

There was an incident with 9Q-CHA in mid-2002, and since then she is stored at FIH and used for spare parts.

"The TriStar suffered engine problems in Douala or Libreville. It was ferried back to Kinshasa where all landing gear tyres blew on landing. The aircraft was withdrawn from use and will be used for spares"

There is a photo of the WAL L-1011 in the December edition of "Airliner World." Same shot as on their website. It was taken in Hondo, TX, after going through a paint job and some maintenance. It was/is headed to Trinidad for final maintenance before heading to Banjul.

Have they set up an office in BRU? Any more info on Hewa Bora pulling out of BRU?

So in fact this airline will be able take off for real.

I hope they'll be able to come to BRU as well.
